Deli Geese Project – Block #41 – Roger

Here is block number #41 of the Deli Geese Block Project!

Roger

41 Roger

I’m still in Outlander mode!  I bought, Written in My Own Hearts Blood, the latest installment in the Outlander series in CD format as a birthday present to myself last month.  I can’t believe I’m going to admit this, but I am listening to it for the second time!  I’ve had some long road trips to Oklahoma and to Texas and the time just flies when listening to a great book.

Block #41 uses the Bottom Units from Dark Flying Geese units.  Details of making the units are found here.

Roger uses:
A – four Bottom Units from Dark Flying Geese units.
B – four  2 1/2″ x  4 1/2″ rectangles
C – four  2 1/2″ squares background (light) added to B with the connecting corner method that can be seen here.
D – four 2 1/2″ x  4 1/2″ rectangles background (light)
E – four 2 1/2″ squares added to D with the connecting corner method that can be seen here.
F – four 2 1/4″ squares

This block will measure 12″ at this point and finish 11 1/2″

This block as well as many others in the Deli Geese Block Project uses 5″ squares.  It’s a great block for charm packs, layer cakes, and of course stash fabrics.

Deli Geese, because they’re sliced !

Enjoy!
