Deli Geese Project – Block #12 – Desi

Here is block number #12 of the Deli Geese Block Project!

Desi Arnez was the real life and TV husband of Lucille Ball.  The I Love Lucy show was the most watched show in the United States in four of its six seasons.

Block #3 Desi uses the Top Units from Light Flying Geese Units.  Details of making the units are found here.

Desi uses:

A – four Top Units from Light Flying Geese units.

B – four 5″ squares made into Half Square Triangle units that unfinished measure 4 1/2″ following the instructions here

C – four 2 1/4″ squares  background

12 Desi

This block will measure 12″ at this point and finish 11 1/2″

This block as well as many others in the Deli Geese Block Project uses 5″ squares.  It’s a great block for charm packs, layer cakes, and of course stash fabrics.

  1. Thank you! Another great block. In looking at the grayed version, I want to play with making the darker grays in the same color – not all of the points, but the two that go together each time. Still scrappy, but that version idea appeals to me, too. I think. =)
