Before I left on a six day teaching trip I went out to the garden to check on the progress and to take a few pictures. We have baby cucumbers!
These are either snow peas or sugar snap peas, I planted them in the same row and did not mark which ones they were and I don’t think it really matters since both are intended to be eaten pods and all.
Sweet yellow peppers.
Yellow summer squash which is maturing a little faster than the zucchini plants that only have male flowers and no female flowers right now.
And the raspberries are starting to ripen. So far just a few at a time, just enough to pick and eat before you ever make it into the house with them!
The green peppers are coming along!
And we have Roma tomatoes making their appearance.
The grape tomatoes are really plentiful already and will be a nice addition to the salads I’ve been eating out the garden everyday when I’m at home.
I’ll be back home in a few days and even if the weeds have gotten a little out of control while I’ve been gone there will be a break in the weather and cooler temperatures for working out in the garden.
